Regina!! Day 9 was not an easy one!

We got into town around 5:30 this evening. Regina Fire deserves a huge thanks, as the crew went out of their way to escort us in, from almost 15km out of town! 5 of us road just behind the tail board all the way into town. That was a nice change from the head and cross winds we road with all day. Unfortunately, it was another day of bad weather and crazy bad head winds through the flats.

On a positive note, it was awesome to have the new addition, Ken Mollan (Mad Dog) from Local 2407 VP, join the ride just in time for the longest day of the whole trip. Welcome Ken!

More positive news...most of the guys have kicked their colds! Now they can focus on the fatigue that is definitely starting to set in....

Thanks to everyone that has been following us on the blog. Tomorrow we will be riding to Medicine Hat. They are calling for frost and -4'C in the morning. Should be nice for a 7am ride!

Happy belated birthday to Captain Moore...

Well done Guys:

It wouldn't be the Prairies if there was no wind !! But coupled with the rain, NO FUN......

Good on Regina Fire for their support and transport assistance on the road in..........

You may get a break in the weather when you get to The Hat, but probably short lived.

Good to hear the colds and grip are withdrawing. Keep dry and as warm as you can........

Watching the trip from White Lake. Your day tomorrow will hopefully be easier for you as you arrive in Medicine Hat. See you in Salmon Arm.
